Throughout her sporting career Cat has played a variety of sports and is an avid sports fan. A former NCAA Division I and professional basketball player, Cat has seen and experienced firsthand the highs and lows of sport.
Her love of sport has extended past her playing career and Cat has held multiple coaching roles, including regional, club, and collegiate level basketball teams.
Currently Cat is completing the final year of her PhD in Sport Psychology with a focus on coach-athlete communication and motivation. She is also in her final year accruing hours for the AASP Certified Mental Performance Consultant Qualification.
"I aspire to take everything that I have learned throughout my playing and academic career to help athletes and coaches achieve their goals. I strongly believe that incorporating sport psychology skills into your overall game will help you achieve your goals both in your sport and in the real world."
Cat has worked with a number of different athletes and club teams over the past few years, delivering a number of different services to athletes, coaches, and parents. She has worked with the University of Essex men's basketball teams, as well as the Essex Rebels men's national league team. Additionally, she has worked with the Colchester Rugby Club and has provided workshops for the Sigma Sixth Forth Basketball, Football, and Rugby academy teams. Cat currently works with a number of individual athletes competing at the national level in track and field and from various team sports. Most recently she created and delivered an online workshop for the TASS athletes from the University of Essex.
